Assalamu alaykum sir, I usually eat this thing like beans which Christians usually cook on good friday, since I was brought up by Christians, and I've grown to love that food, now that I know we have to be careful when it comes to religion, can I continue eating that food because I like it.

As much as it is not prepared for one the Christian festivals, there is no harm in that. Any thing prepared for their festval; Good Friday, Esther, Christmas etc should be strictly avoided as collecting it shows assisting to what Allaah forbids; joining them to celebrate the unislamic festival.
